This story was one of the rare instances, wherein a movie made based on a Tagore piece was better than the story itself, Tapan Sinha was more poignant than Rabindranath Thakur; a feat which no one claim till date. Technology has improved over the years and much so from the times of Tagore, in tens or hundreds or thousands of times, but none had been able to supersede the class of Tagore. This audio piece took me back to one of my first movie-watching experience and it happened to be Kabuliwala; had watched this movie many times after, and though I tried my best every time, had never been successful in controlling the tears that would roll down my cheeks every time at the end of the movie. This audio-piece with its sounds and background music and superb vocal rendition transported me to those delicate moments. Heartfelt experiences. Now, before I start sounding like a judge from a Reality Show, I must retire and continue to bask in multitudes of extremely gratifying feelings, a singlemost consequence of listening to this audio piece. Thanks

Ei golpo ta is one of the landmarks of bangla golpo podcast. The significance of “kabuliwala” has been very appropriately captured through the narration. Waiting eagerly for the next rendition.
