A small gem from Premendra Mitra, Ghonada's creator. The ghosts in this story have a wry sense of humour.

EPISODE 22-Bohurupi
August 27th, 2012
A small excerpt from Sharatchandra Chattopadhyay's Srikanto novels. Remember it being part of school reading. Wonder if it still is. Originally created it for http://galpobolishono.com; a must-visit, fascnating, bengali literature website mainly for kids . Biswadeep from galpobolishono, transformed the piece from formal bengali to colloquial bengali. Was intended for posting on their website. Don't know if that happened. But do visit their site. The music at the beginning and end is Chopins' 'raindrop' prelude, Opera 28, No. 15. This is a small gift for the all the great listeners of bangla golpo. You all keep me going, in spite of everything, Thanks!. Bangla Golpo-Bengali Stories is nowadays based out of UK.
